History

History of Naturalle Herbal Remedies Pvt.Ltd

Our shrimp farm was started in the year 1983 in Nelatur village, Nellore district, AP. It was acclaimed at that time, as the first scientific aqua farm in the entire country. Hundreds of farmers visited this farm and learnt the art of farming. Initially P Indicus species was reared in the farm. Later on P Monodon was introduced. As there was no Hatchery for shrimp in India at that time, shrimp seed was collected from nearby estuaries manually. As no formulated feed was available, raw ingredients were collected, pulverized in to powder form and small screw type extruder was used to produce pellet feed. Instead of paddle wheel aerators, water pumps were used to recycle the pond water for increasing dissolved oxygen. Despite those hardships, 2 to 3 MT of shrimps per hectare were harvested in every crop.

Our first pellet feed mill, though in a small way, was started in the year 1990 in Nellore. TASPARC, the erstwhile aqua promotion institution of Government of India conducted the performance experiment of our feed along with imported feeds in its demonstration farm at Pudiparthi village in Nellore district. The experiment went well and our feed could meet the challenge of imported feeds in FCR and 4.5 MT of Shrimp Production per hectare, which was a great achievement in those nascent days.

The promoters first produced Herbal Medicated Feed in 1994 to control diseases. Over a period of time, herbal prawn feed effectiveness has improved by constant research and field trials.

Now, the promoters have taken the collaborative support from Varun Herbals, which is recognized as Scientific & Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, to infuse scientific research in the formulation of Herbal Medicine.

Naturalle Herbal Prawn Feed is being produced after three years of intensive research and extensive field trials in thousands of farms across India. It has almost 99% success rate in effectively controlling and curing White Gut, White Fecal and EMS diseases.
